As of 8 am today, the price of 10 grams of 22-caratgold remains at Rs. 55,950, while the price of 10 grams of 24-caratgold is Rs. 61,040. Silver is currently priced at Rs. 78,000 per kilogram.
The stability of local gold prices contrasts with recent volatility in the international market. In the lead-up to the wedding season, gold prices experienced a downward trend, with 24-carat gold dipping to around Rs. 60,000 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold falling to approximately Rs. 55,000 per 10 grams.
