‘White Paper’ Not To Offend Anyone: CM Revanth

Hyderabad, Dec 20 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made key comments on the release of the “White paper” saying that it is not meant to offend anyone.  He clarified that this is not an attempt to blame anyone. Revanth made it clear that the government is not expecting selfish political benefits.

Revanth Reddy said in the Assembly, in reply to the opposition members Harish Rao of BRS, B.manohar Reddy of BJP, Akbaruddin Owaisi of AIMIM, K. Sambha Siva Rao and others on the issue of economic status of the State, today, the Chief Minister said that ‘Harish Rao spoke to insult the officials who worked for the state for ten years. He asked, has the government spent the funds with the right intention? Or so says the Controller and Auditor General. This ‘white paper is not meant to renege on our promises. When the state was formed in 2014-15, the RBI had surplus funds for 303 days. In ten years it has come down to 30 days. Today there is a situation where even government employees are not getting loans.  RBI provides information regarding government revenue and requirements.

The Chief Minister said that any decision has to be made in the House, he said that the economic conditions shown in the ‘white paper’ are the facts, if we cover them up and go as it is, we will lose.  These calculations were given by the officials who worked during the previous government.  They may feel sad for sitting in the opposition.  Our effort is to give opportunities to those who deserve it.  I myself asked BJP State President and Union Minister,  Kishan Reddy to meet the Prime Minister despite ideological differences for the development of Telangana.  Whatever we want to do, we will put it before the House.  Our aim is to make Telangana compete with the world.  We have made the secretariat available to the public. We will arrange a meeting with all the MLAs coming under Greater Hyderabad.

ALL PARTY MEETING SOON

The Chief Minister said that we will hold an all-party meeting soon.  We will discuss many issues along with the Greater Hyderabad City.  Not only those who are in the House, but also the leaders like the CPM party who are not there.  We will put it in the House in the form of a document to take any decision of the government. We will not sit at home and make decisions.  He clarified that there will be decisions that will be discussed with everyone. (Maxim News)
