  • Telangana Government Appointed Senior Leaders as Advisors in Key Ministerial Roles

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has appointed four distinguished leaders to serve as Advisors to the Government in a significant development reflecting Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s leadership. These appointments come with the rank and status equivalent to that of Minister of State in the State Cabinet.

Vem Narender Reddy, a trusted confidant of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, assumes the role of Advisor (Public Affairs) to the Chief Minister. Mr. Narender Reddy, a former MLA from Mahabubabad and a representative of the Telugu Desham Party in the combined Andhra Pradesh, joined the Congress alongside Mr. Revanth Reddy in anticipation of the 2018 State Assembly elections. Their enduring camaraderie dates back to their days in the TDP.

Another prominent appointment is that of Former Minister Shabbir Ali, who now serves as the Advisor to SC, ST, BC, and Minority departments, holding the rank of Minister of State in the State Cabinet.

Mr. Ali, a close associate of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, played a pivotal role in supporting Mr. Revanth Reddy during his bid for the presidency of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee.

Dr. Mallu Ravi assumes the crucial role of special representative of the Telangana Government in New Delhi. Dr. Ravi, the brother of Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and a staunch supporter of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, previously held a similar position in the combined Andhra Pradesh during the Y.S. Rajashekhar Reddy Government. A former Member of Parliament from Nagharkurnool, Dr. Ravi brings a wealth of experience to this strategic position.
