Caste Census In Telangana Soon: Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, Jan 27 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that as per the promise given to the people before the elections, the caste census will be taken up in Telangana soon. Instructions have been issued to the authorities to take the necessary steps for this.

The Chief Minister ordered the officials to this effect as part of the review meeting held on BC, Minority, and Tribal Welfare departments at the Secretariat today. He said that complete details should be provided regarding welfare gurukul schools in rented buildings in the state, proposals should be prepared for constructing their buildings and suitable places for building should be identified on a war basis. He said that the budget proposals should be prepared after estimating the cost of building each school.

Revanth Reddy has ordered that all the diet charges, cosmetic charges, cooking bills, etc. given to students studying in government hostels and gurukuls should be made without pending. Payment should be made through the green channel.

Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Overseas Scholarship Scheme should be implemented more effectively. He wants to see that more deserving students benefit than the current students. He said that the top universities should be identified based on the rankings of universities abroad and a framework should be prepared. Students who are going to study are advised to give priority to this scheme. It has been mentioned that all educational institutes of SC, ST, and BC welfare gurukulas should be set up in an integrated education hub instead of in different places. He said that proposals should be prepared to build an integrated hub for the constituency. This will enable better management, supervision, and administration of schools. Revanth Reddy thinks that by studying more students on the same campus, their talent and competitiveness will increase. It is suggested to identify the required places for the construction of education hubs in all the constituency centers. If it is not possible in the constituency center, it is suggested to choose another town or Mandal center in the same segment as an alternative. (Maxim News)
