Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly By-Election On May 13

Delhi/Hyderabad, March 16 (Maxim News): The Election Commission has announced that the fourth phase of the Parliamentary elections in Telangana will be held on May 13.  Polling for the Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly Constituency by-elections will be held on the same day as the Lok Sabha elections.

The Election Commission has announced that the by-election will be held here as Lasyanandita, who won as an MLA on behalf of BRS, died in a recent road accident.

The notification for this assembly seat will be released on April 18.  the acceptance of nominations will start immediately.  Polling will be held on May 13 and the results will be declared on June 4.  Along with cantonment, the Election Commission will conduct by-elections for 26 Assembly constituencies in various states.  (Maxim News)
