Kavitha Send To Tihar Jail Till April 9

Delhi/Hyderabad, March 26 (Maxim News): Delhi Rouse Avenue court remanded BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha in the Delhi Liquor Scam case. The remand order was issued till April 9, with this, Kavitha will be sent to Tihal Jail.

Kavitha has been in ED custody till now after the arrest.  So he stayed in the ED office in Delhi.  After the ED custody was over, the authorities produced her in court on the morning of March 26, 2024.

The court issued orders imposing judicial custody from ED custody. With this, the authorities will move Kalvakuntla’s Kavitha to Tihar jail.

Earlier, Kavitha filed an interim bail petition in the court.  She asked for interim bail as his son had exams.  Kavitha’s son has exams till April 16.  She asked for interim bail till then. The court rejected this request, and ED asked for time to reply to Kavitha’s bail petition. After hearing the arguments of both groups, the court remanded Kavitha. Regular arguments on Kavitha’s bail petition will be held on April 1. (Maxim News)
