More Than 3 Crore Voters To Exercise Franchise In 17 Lok Sabha Constituencies On May 13

Hyderabad, March 27 (Maxim News): In a final voter list as of March 25, 3,30,13,318 voters will be exercising their franchise in 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana on May 13. In this the male voters are 1,64,14,693, female voters are 1,65,95,896, transgenders are 2,729, and service voters 15,472.

The young voters aged between 18 to 19 are 8,72,116 and above 85 years voters are 1,93,489, PwD voters are 5,26,286, and NRI voters are 3,409.

As part of Special Summary Revision 2024, the final publication of the electoral roll was published on 08.02.2024.

The Election Commission of India has issued a Schedule on 16th March 2024 for the conduct of the General Election 2024 and polling in the State of Telangana will be held on 13th May 2024 (Monday).

As per instructions of the Election Commission of India, New Delhi, Forms-7 and Form-8 (for corrections) received up to 15.03.2024 have been disposed of on ERO Net. The last date for disposal of these forms was 25.03.2024.

As of 25th March 2024, 9,14,354 Form 7s for deletion and 7,31,573 Form 8s for correction of entries have been disposed of 25.03.2024 and after the completion of assembly elections.

As per instructions of the Election Commission of India, New Delhi, no Form 7 (deletion on request) or Form 8 (correction request) can be processed in ERO Net now. It is also informed that Form -6 (enrolment in voter list ) and Form 8 from one Assembly Constituency to another) can be filed up to 15.04.2024. (Maxim News)
