Total Turn Out Of Vote In 17 LS Seats In Telangana Recorded 64.93 Percent

  • THE HIGHEST POLLING RECORDED IN BHONGIR WAS 76.47 PERCENT IN HYDERABAD LOWEST WAS 46.08 PERCENT

Hyderabad, May 14 (Maxim News): The total turnout of voters in 17 Parliamentary Constituencies was 64.93 percent Bhongir Constituency recorded the highest polling of 76.47 percent while Hyderabad recorded the lowest with 46.08 percent.

The Consistency-Wise Details Are Given Below : 

According to the ECI, the overall voter turnout in Telangana was 64.93 percent. Among the 17 constituencies, Bhongir emerged at the top with a 76.47 percent turnout, while Hyderabad lagged at the bottom with only 46.08 percent polling.

Apart from Bhongir, nine other constituencies recorded over 70 percent polling, Khammam 75.19 percent, Zahirabad 74.54 percent, Medak 74.38 percent, Nalgonda 73.78 percent, Adilabad 72.96 percent, Karimnagar 72.33 percent, Mahbubnagar 71.54 percent, Nizamabad 71.5 percent and Mahabubabad 70.68 percent.  On the contrary, both Hyderabad and Secunderabad registered less than 50 percent of polling, confined to 46.08 percent and 48.11 percent respectively.

The polling percentages in other constituencies were as follows: Nagarkurnool 68.86 percent, Warangal 68.29 percent, Peddapalli 67.88 percent, Chevella 55.45 percent, and Malkajgiri 50.12 percent. (Maxim News)
