Jeevan Reddy stated that it was Rajiv Gandhi who opened the gates of the Ram Temple.  Jeevan Reddy revealed that it was Rajiv Gandhi who opened the Ram Lalla Gates to respect the court verdict and respect the sentiments of Hindus.  He asked where Modi was when the temple gates were opened.

“1989 Shilanyas was done, then Rajiv Gandhi was Prime Minister.  Rajiv Gandhi was permitted to lay the foundation stone of the temple.  If Rajiv Gandhi had come to power in 1989, the Ram Temple would have been completed.  The controversy is due to the BJP using the temple for elections.  This issue has become serious due to the incitement of religious beliefs in the country.  Rajiv Gandhi developed religious thinking in the country.  Ramayana and Maha Bharata were telecasted on Doordarshan when he was PM.  As an ideal God.  Shri Ram gave value to public opinion in governance.  Doordarshan was telecast according to whose ideology?  The Gandhi family respected the sentiments of Hindus. Jeevan Reddy stated that secularism means respecting the feelings of all.  (Maxim News)
