Man Apprehended In Matrimonial Fraud In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, May 24 (Maxim News): Cyber Crime sleuths apprehended an accused maram, Ashok Reddy, S/o M. Govind Reddy age 23 years, in Matrimonial fraud and extorted money to the tune of Rs. 14 lakhs from innocent public by creating fake social media IDs.

The accused lured the victims and used the cheated amount to play different online games/betting applications such as Silverbet777.com, 99 Exch.com, Teen Pathi Gold, 1 X Bet, Bet Winner, Dash Rummy, Melbet, etc., and seized one mobile device along with the offense used SIM cards.

The fraudster proficiently creates a fake user profile in the SnapChat APP in the name of Praneetha Reddy. When requests are sent by the victim, the accused approaches the victim as a girl and initiates a virtual relationship through chat.

Deceive the victim in the pretext of Friendship, love, and later marriage and make the victim believe by sending the pics to make the victim believe his words.

Fraudsters exploit this trust to fabricate urgent needs, starting a business and ensnaring the victim in a web of deceit until the heartbreaking realization of being deceived by the fraudster. The accused lured the victims and used the amount to play different online games.
