The Dharani soil excavations that took place during the previous BRS government are being uncovered.  A recent case has come to light in which government lands worth around Rs. 500 crores were sold on the outskirts of the city by blocking the loopholes in Dharani. As this matter which happened in the previous BRS government came out recently, the officials investigated it deeply with all the evidence. The illegals were checked and the lands were recovered. Passbooks were canceled and criminal cases were registered against those who created fake documents. There is 9.36 acres of government land in Gandhamguda survey number 51 of Gandipet mandal of Rangareddy district. Since 1958, this land has been recorded as a government fence in the Khasra and other revenue records.

This land has been included in the prohibited list under Section 22A so that no transactions can take place other than alienation. Here the value of an acre of land is at least Rs. 50 crores to above Rs. 60 crores. The eyes of some of the influential persons in the BRS government fell as this most valuable land was left vacant. They devised a strategy to compensate for this somehow. The family of Sabia Sultania and 13 others have come forward saying that this land was gifted to a person named Mohammad Naziruddin (late) by Jagir holders. All of them strategically filed a case in the Revenue Tribunal with forged documents and got a verdict in their favour. Abhishek, son of A. Mithra Krishna, former corporator of the then ruling party Jiyaguda was GPA through Document No. 12698/2019.

The GPA register was completed with the blessings of the elders even though this land was in the restricted list. After that, they blocked the loopholes in Dharani and ran the rest of their game. The claimants of the land have applied in Dharani for a pass book for this land. At that time it was recorded as Muntakhab land gifted by Jagir. Muntakhab lands usually do not have survey numbers. The application was made in the name of Gandhamguda village (Abadi), they have also attached a family certificate stating that they are all members of Mohammad Naziruddin’s family. With this evidence, account number 5006 was given in Dharani on May 27, 2023 for this land.

It is noteworthy that this account is given in the name of Abadi. Later Abhishek’s name was changed in place of Abadi and mutation was issued to this land and Pattadar passbook (T05070160061) was issued. At that time, the government owned land on record was converted into Pattabhoomi. As the election rush started, they prepared to sell this land to other people.

A person who got passbooks for valuable government land booked a slot in February this year to sell these lands to others after the elections. But the authorities were alerted as a complaint had already been received. The registration was rejected on the grounds that there were objections. They approached the High Court on this. They requested the court to issue passbooks in accordance with the earlier ruling in their favour from the Revenue Tribunal.

On this, the High Court ordered the authorities to investigate and take a decision in accordance with the principles of natural justice. The officials who inquired about this ordered the family of Mohammad Naziruddin to bring all the records related to this land. After examining all the documents brought by them, it was found that the certificate taken by Mohammad Naziruddin as a family member was fakeFamily Certificate Reference No. C/8864/2006 certificate issued on April 5, 2006 by Tehsildar, Rajendranagar was shown to the investigating officers. However, no evidence was found that this document was issued by the Tehsildar office of Rajendranagar.
