EV Charging Stations At 23 Bus Depots In Greater Zone

Hyderabad, June 2 (Maxim News): TGRTC has started working by making EV (Electric Vehicle) charging stations available at every bus depot in the Greater Zone RTC.  It may be recalled that already set up EV charging stations for charging electric buses at Cantonment, Miyapur 1 depot, is taking steps to make EV charging stations available at 23 other bus depots in the Greater Zone by the end of July.  Officials say that currently 62 electric buses are running in the Greater Zone and another 20 electric buses will be available by the end of June.

HCU, Mushirabad, Kukatpally, BHEL, Miyapur-1 along with Falaknuma, Farooqnagar, Maheshwari, Rajendranagar, Bandlaguda, Hayathnagar-1, Hayathnagar-2, Mithani, Uppal, dilsukhnagar, Chengicherla were the electric buses are increasing  EV stations are being set up at all these bus depots besides Kushaiguda and Jeedimetla.  TGRTC has taken steps to start EV stations in a phased manner at the bus depots by the end of July.  Arrangements are being made to allot EV stations at several depots for district buses and EV stations at some other bus depots for city buses.  (Maxim News)
