Teenmaar Mallanna Leads By 14,672 First Preference Votes In Graduates MLC Election

Hyderabad, June 6 (Maxim news): The process of counting of votes for Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal Graduate MLC elections is going on. So far three rounds of counting of first preference votes have been completed, 2.64.216 votes were found to be valid votes in the first preference vote. In this, Congress Candidate Teenmaar Mallanna got 1,06,234 votes, BRS candidate Rakesh Reddy got 87,356 votes, BJP got 34,516 votes and independent candidate Ashok Goud got 27,493 votes.

Mallanna got a majority of 7670 votes in the first round, 7001 in the second round and 4,208 votes in the third round. Total lead 18,878. 48,013 votes were counted in the fourth round of the last round. After the completion of the fourth round, the winning quota will be determined by 50%+1 vote of the valid votes cast. But the candidates are far from the winning quota in the first preference votes. The counting of second priority votes will be taken up in the elimination method after 7 pm today. The winner will be determined in the second preference vote. The winner is likely to be drawn tomorrow afternoon.
