Slight Flood In Jurala Due To Rains In Catchment Areas 

Gadwala/Hyderabad, Jun 10 (Maxim News): The flood flow to Priyadarshini Jurala Project, which has become a boon for cultivation and drinking water needs of the joint Palamuru district, is gradually increasing.

For the past few days, the Jurala project has started flooding due to rains in the catchment areas of Telangana and Karnataka.  Aninflow of 3,806 cusecs was recorded on Monday morning. 

Due to the rains in this season, the Krishna River started to flood slightly.  As the flood flow gradually increased, 3,806 cusecs of flood water was entering the Jurala project.  while the full water level of Jurala is 318.516 meters, currently 315.840 meters and 4.936 TMC of water is stored.  (Maxim News)
