Telangana DSC Exam For Teacher Recruitment Begins

Hyderabad, July 18 (Maxim News): Teacher Recruitment Examination (DSC) has started in Telangana. These exams will be held till the 5th of August. DSC is being conducted to fill up a total of 11,062 teacher posts, 2,79,957 candidates have applied for this. Among them are 48 thousand candidates who have recently qualified for TET as the application deadline has been extended.

1.60 lakh candidates have applied for the School Assistant (SA) exam and 80 thousand candidates have applied for Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) posts in Telangana. Others include linguists and physical education teachers. For the first time, the authorities have made elaborate arrangements for this examination which will be conducted as computer-based (online). A total of 56 examination centers have been set up in the state. There are 27 centers within Greater Hyderabad alone. CCTV cameras have been installed in all the centers.

A biometric attendance system will be implemented for the candidates. Keeping this in mind, the education department has advised the candidates to reach the examination centers early. The examination will be conducted in two shifts every day. There will be one session from 9 am to 11.30 am and another session from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
