Hyderabad: Drug Tests In Pubs, Corporate Colleges, IT Companies
Hyderabad, Aug 4 (Maxim News): The officials of the Narcotics Bureau who are keeping a firm grip on the supply and consumption of drugs are working on a new program.
They are preparing to conduct drug tests similar to drunken driving. Mainly students of corporate colleges and employees of IT companies are found to be affected by intoxication. With this, random inspections will be done in pubs, clubs, colleges, corporate schools and event areas. The place will be taken as a group and random drug tests will be conducted.
Marijuana users have symptoms of intoxication for 4 weeks and drug users for 3 months. According to the result of the test, those who have taken drugs will be identified and questioned. Who supplied the drugs? Where did you buy it? How many people are serving together? Other details will be received.
The links of drug smugglers will be caught with the information given by them. Officials believe that if large-scale inspections and tests are conducted throughout the greater part of the country, the youth can be removed from the drug epidemic within a few days.
The youth who are exposed to drugs are becoming addicted to them and ruining their lives. As drugs were being supplied to the city through some means, the government took strict action. Telangana Narcotics Bureau officials are targeting local smugglers as well as interstate gharana smugglers aiming to make the city drug-free.
