WATCH | Heavy Rains Bring Snakes Into Homes of Old City in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Sept 1 (Maxim News): As Hyderabad experiences relentless rainfall, reports of snakes, including pythons, invading homes have emerged in the city. On Saturday night, a python was discovered near an ice factory close to Masjid Ahmed-E-Khatoon in Hasan Nagar, Old City. Snake catcher Hakeem Meer Shakeel Ali swiftly responded and safely rescued the python, which would be released into a nearby forest.

Residents of Manuguru town in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, which has been completely submerged, are particularly alarmed as poisonous snakes have entered their homes along with floodwaters. Meanwhile, In Boddi Thanda of Narsihmulapeta Mandal, Mahabubabad, all houses were submerged, forcing residents to seek refuge on rooftops.

The Friends of Snakes Society and Animal Warriors are among the organizations providing support during this crisis, as heavy rains continue to displace wildlife across Telangana.
