Amit Shah launched the campaign for Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections in Jammu on Saturday. Addressing a rally organized on the occasion, he said that the upcoming elections are historic and the BJP has started its election campaign on the day of ‘Vinayaka Chaturthi‘. He said that for the first time, people here are exercising their right to vote under the tricolor flag of one flag instead of under the shadow of two flags. “There are not two Prime Ministers, only one Prime Minister.  Our Modi is the chosen Prime Minister.  I want to make one thing very clear.  BJP will fight this election with full strength and will win” Amit Shah expressed confidence.

Giving a clear message to the Congress, he said that the Congress cannot touch the reservation given to Dalits and other communities in the region. ‘Rahul Gandhi should listen carefully to my words.  No matter how much you (Rahul) try, you will not touch the reservations of Pahadi, Bakarwal, and Dalits, he clarified.

Amit Shah has reneged on the promise to bring back “cross border trade” if PDP comes to power. He said that if the doors are opened to cross-border trade, the profits from this will go directly to terrorist activities.  he said that there is no point in talks in neighboring Pakistan until there is peace in Jammu and Kashmir. He clarified that the PDP is saying that it will restore autonomy to Jammu and Kashmir, but no power has restored autonomy to Jammu and Kashmir. He said that statehood will be given back to Jammu and Kashmir after the elections. He said that the same thing was said in the Parliament and Rahul Gandhi should refrain from misleading the people.

Amit Shah predicted that the Congress-National Conference, which is going to the polls with an alliance, will lose power in Jammu and Kashmir.  It was reminded that these same people insulted Raja Hari Singh.  While corruption is rampant in other parts of the country, the corruption of three families in Jammu and Kashmir is rampant.  While the assembly elections will be held in three phases on September 18, 25, and October 1, the results will be announced on October 8.  (Maxim News)
