Engineering Students Caught Supplying Drugs In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Sept 19 (Maxim News): A huge amount of drugs was seized in Madhapur in the city. Police arrested three engineering students who were supplying drugs.

Excise District Task Force (DTF) Police arrested three youths who were selling drugs by risking their future for easy money. Excise DTF CI Shirisha team caught three engineering youths, trying to sell 30 LSD tablets at No. 37 Madhapur Road, Jubilee Hills. A bike was also seized from them.

The value of seized drugs is Rs. 70,000 worth. Among those arrested, Charan Tej, who is studying engineering in Chennai, and fellow students Kaushik Boti and Syed Sarfaraz were arrested and produced in the court.

A case has been registered against a Chennai-based supplier who brought drugs from Chennai and supplied them to the students. He is currently absconding.

Excise Enforcement Director VV Kamalasan Reddy and Assistant Commissioner Anil Kumar Reddy congratulated the Shirisha team for catching the drugs.  (Maxim News)
