Accused In Murder Of Old Women Arrested In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Oct 9 (Maxim News): Jubilee Hills Police have arrested one Shaik Javed @ Javeed Khan @ Aamer Ali, aged 34,  a resident of  Usha Kiran Arcades Apartment, Vidyanagar, in connection with the gruesome murder of Sudharani, a 44-year-old woman and resident of Navodaya Colony, Yousufguda. The crime occurred on September 30 between 5.40 pm and 7.30 pm.

Following meticulous efforts, the police apprehended the accused, Shaik Javeed, on October 8, 2024, at around 4:00 AM near Kranthi Nagar Colony, Chengicherla. During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime, revealing a complex motive driven by financial gain, revenge, and personal vendetta. He led the police to recover key evidence, including a blood-stained knife, stolen jewelry, and documents. Besides his two-wheeler DIO bike and as well his S-Cross car were also seized.

According to the investigation, Javeed’s motive stemmed from a financial dispute and personal vendetta. The accused is a native of Kazipet and an auto driver by profession. The accused knew the victim since 2022 and he had invested Rs. 2.8 lakhs over a period with her with a beleaf paying his subscription to the chit fund. However, when the victim allegedly failed to return his investment and attempted to implicate him in false cases, the accused developed a deep-seated grudge. The accused also claimed that the victim had been threatening to commit suicide and implicate him in false cases if he insisted on recovering his investment, moreover, 4 months back she orchestrated an assault on him with four persons for not to talk about the money.

Javeed was remanded to judicial custody and the case is being investigated by K. Venkateswara Reddy, SHO Jubilee Hills PS, Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
