Man Arrested For Killing Three People

Hyderabad, Oct 19 (Maxim News): The Kandukur police arrested a man who had allegedly murdered three people in two different cases.

The arrested man Uppula Shiva Kumar (25), a resident of Dasarapalli village in Kandukur Mandal in Ranga Reddy district on October 16 night went to a farmhouse and killed an elderly couple Mooga Ushaiah (70) and his wife Mooga Shanthamma (65) 

Shiva Kumar is addicted to liquor and drugs. He selected farmhouses on the outskirts of the villages and targeted the workers for money.  Shiva also targeted women and sexually assaulted them and if they resisted, killed them, said Rachakonda Commissioner of Police, G. Sudheer Babu.

On October 16, Shiva went to the farmhouse where Ushaiah and Shanthamma stayed.  When he failed to get any property in the house, he killed the couple and left the place, said the official. 

During the investigation into the case, the police got clues that eventually led them to apprehend Shiva Kumar.  On interrogation, he admitted to having killed the couple.  he also confessed to killing a woman at a farmhouse in Kandukur in March 2023.

Shiva Kumar had entered a farmhouse on March 3, 2023, and on finding a lady Shailaja Reddy alone in the room attempted to sexually assault her.  When she protested, Shiva Kumar killed the woman and escaped from the place, said Rachakonda CP. (Maxim News)
