Hyderabad, Oct 20 (Maxim News): Union Minister for Coal and Mines and BJP state president, G. Kishan Reddy visited the Cherlapally terminal which is ready for inauguration today.

Speaking on this occasion, he made several key comments. He said that MMTS works will be started from Hyderabad to Yadadri soon. Cherlapally railway station has been constructed with state-of-the-art technology, he said.

He said that since the formation the Telangana state has been treated unfairly in the matter of Railways. He said that the center will develop the new railway construction. He said that in addition to Secunderabad, Nampally, and Kachiguda, the fourth new railway station Charlapalli is coming up in Hyderabad. This will reduce the traffic in Hyderabad. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, this railway station was built in a short time. 98 percent of the work has already been completed. He said that Rs. 430 crores were spent and constructed for Cherlapalli railway station. Along with the construction of the railway track, all the facilities have been provided with new technology. Escalators and lifts have been arranged for the disabled and the elderly to climb the stairs.

It has been suggested that the state government should establish connectivity roads to go from Cherlapally railway station. The state government made arrangements for the construction of 80-foot roads towards Bharatnagar and Mahalakshmi Nagar. A master plan has already been prepared for this and it has been requested to implement it immediately. He said that it would be useful only when there is complete road connectivity from here.

On the other hand, Kishan Reddy reminded that Prime Minister Modi has introduced a railway guard system in Telangana to prevent railway accidents from happening in Telangana. He said that Telangana has the highest number of Vande Bharat trains after Delhi. Sleeper coaches will also be arranged in these trains soon. He said that 40 railway stations are being developed in Telangana under the Amrit scheme, Secunderabad railway station is being developed with Rs. 715 crores, Nampally railway station with Rs. 429 crores and Cherlapally railway station with Rs. 430 crores. Alswo, a rail manufacturing unit has been started with Rs. 521 crores.  (Maxim News)
