Hyderabad Police | Hyderabad, May 7 (Maxim News) : Hyderabad City Police announced plans to auction 1,130 abandoned and unclaimed vehicles across the city. Officials issued the notification under provisions of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Area Police Act 2004 and the Hyderabad City Police Act.
According to the police department, the vehicles include different types and models. Authorities will conduct a public auction if no owner comes forward within the given deadline.
Police officials asked people with ownership claims, objections, or hypothecation interests to submit applications before the Commissioner of Police at the ICCC office in Banjara Hills.
Applicants must complete the process within six months from the date of the proclamation. Otherwise, police will include the vehicles in the public auction process.
Hyderabad Police Releases Vehicle Details
Officials said people can check vehicle details at the auction team office located at SAR CPL Police Grounds behind the Police Hospital in Amberpet.
