Santosh Nagar road accident | Hyderabad, Sept. 20 (Maxim News): A three-year-old boy, Azhanuddin, died after a speeding vehicle allegedly hit him near I.S. Sadan X Road in Santosh Nagar, Hyderabad.
According to the report, the child had gone with his family to collect a parcel from Sweekar Hotel when the vehicle hit him. The driver allegedly fled the spot along with the vehicle after the accident.
Family members rushed Azhanuddin to Shalini Hospital for treatment. He was later shifted to Owaisi Hospital, where doctors examined him and declared him dead.

Following the incident, Yakutpura MLA Jaffer Hussain Meraj reached the spot as soon as information spread about the accident.
The MLA Meraj Hussain spoke to police officials and sought details about the action being taken in the case.
Police said the vehicle’s registration number had been noted. Officials said efforts were underway to trace the vehicle and identify the driver.
Police are expected to take legal action after establishing the circumstances of the accident and identifying the person behind the wheel.
The incident has also renewed concerns over road safety, particularly around busy junctions and areas where children and pedestrians frequently move.
