LB Nagar Plot Regularisation Certificates Distributed

LB Nagar Plot Regularisation | Hyderabad: Telangana Minister for Public Enterprises and Minority Welfare Mohammed Azharuddin participated in the distribution of house-plot regularisation certificates to beneficiaries in LB Nagar.

The programme marked a significant step towards providing greater security to families who have faced long-pending land and registration issues.

The certificates were distributed to beneficiaries from 44 colonies in the LB Nagar constituency at the Saroornagar Indoor Stadium.

Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, MLC Dayanand, MLAs Malreddy Ranga Reddy and D. Sudheer Reddy, AIPC Chairman Madhu Yashki Goud, the District Collector and other public representatives and officials attended the programme.

LB Nagar Plot Regularisation Moves Under GO 118

The regularisation process is being implemented under GO 118. Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said issues affecting 44 of the 64 colonies in the constituency had been addressed so far. The government has also issued a memorandum for the regularisation of 9,792 plots in Rangareddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts.

Ponguleti said the government had directed District Collectors to resolve the issues without political considerations. He also assured residents that houses would not be demolished and said eligible properties would be regularised after following due process.

The government has separately constituted a high-level committee to address long-pending issues involving properties listed under Section 22-A of the Registration Act. The committee is headed by CCLA Commissioner D.S. Lokesh Kumar, with Law Secretary Papi Reddy and Inspector General of Stamps and Registrations Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu as members.

Azharuddin said such initiatives under Praja Palana would strengthen public confidence in governance and help families move towards greater security and dignity.
