Hyderabad, May 7 (Maxim News): There appears to be no relief from the heat in Hyderabad or the surrounding districts, despite multiple weather agencies indicating that the maximum temperatures have dipped by a degree or two across Telangana.
According to the temperature data from India Meteorological Data (IMD), in the last 24 hours (till 8.30 am on Thursday), Hyderabad recorded a maximum of 36.5 degree Celsius, which is 2.8 degree Celsius below normal. However, at the ground level, people have continued to struggle with the oppressive combination of high temperature and high humidity.
In districts, in the last 24-hours, the IMD data has indicated that Medak district recorded a maximum of 40.8 degree Celsius, followed by Nizamabad (40.5), Adilabad (40.3), Hanumakonda (39.5) and Nalgonda (39).
In Hyderabad, the regions that received maximum temperatures (IMD, Hyderabad data) include Hayathnagar (40.2), ,Rajendranagar (37), Begumpet (36.5) and Patencheru (36.4 degree Celsius.
Bheemgal in Nizamabad (42.8), Bhoraj in Adilabad (42.6), Pinapaka in Bhadradri Kothagudem (42.4), Raikal in Jagtial (42.3), Enkuru in Khammam (42).
Greater Hyderabad:
Uppal in Medchal-Malkajgiri (40), Hathnoor in Sangareddy (40), Saroornagar in RR (39.6), Basheerabad in Vikarabad (39.5) and Choutuppal in Bhongir (38.9)
IMD, Hyderabad Data:
Medak (40.8), Nizamabad (40.5), Adilabad (40.3), Khammam (39.4), Hyderabad (36.5)
Greater Hyderabad:
