Another Trap To KTR’s Neck: Permission To ACB To Investigate In Formula E-Race Affair

Hyderabad, Nov 2 (Maxim News): BRS leaders are facing more complications. Another key development has taken place in the Formula E-Race affair. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s government has permitted the ACB to investigate the irregularities.

It has been ordered to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and bring out the facts. It was ordered not to release any of the accused. However, ACB has decided to issue notices to all those who are linked with this case.

The Municipal officials said that Rs. 55 crore was handed over to a foreign company against the rules to organize this formula race. The release of Rs. 55 crores through word of mouth, without at least G.O., drew criticism.

Officials have written a letter to ACB to investigate this. This caused concern among BRS leaders. The authorities have already given notices to the then Municipal Department officer Arvind Kumar. But there is a discussion that KTR will also be given notice.

It is known that the Formula E-Race was held in Hussain Sagar area of Hyderabad last year. But for this race, a track of about three kilometers has been arranged. However, due to the success of the first race, the municipal department entered into an agreement with the organizers of Formula E-Race to organize it in February this year.

In this context, it paid Rs. 55 crores to a foreign company against the rules. All this matter was done by the BRS government. But this time the matter came to light after the Congress government came to power. (Maxim News)
