Cruise Ship Service From Nagarjuna Sagar To Srisailam Launched
Nagarjuna Sagar/Hyderabad, Nov 2 (Maxim News): Tourists and nature lovers have been waiting for the boat journey from Nagarjuna Sagar to Srisailam on the first day of the month of Kartika started by the Telangana Tourism Department.

Although plans have been made for the last five years, it has been postponed due to a lack of proper water level in Sagar, the coronavirus epidemic, and other reasons.
Currently, there is maximum water availability in the Krishna River from Srisailam to Nagarjuna Sagar due to abundant rains. With this, the State Tourism Development Corporation launched the boat. A large number of tourists from the state as well as surrounding areas have flocked for this journey, which is about 120 km long.

From Nagarjuna Sagar through Nandikonda, the Tourism department has launched a launch trip to see the beauty of Eleswaram, Saleshwaram, Eastern Ghats, and Nallamala forest. On another route, the Tourism Development Corporation has also made available launch services from Somasila in Nagar Kurnool district to Srisailam. Officials today launched an AC launch for 120 passengers on the coast of Somasila in Kolhapur mandal. the journey from Akkan to Srisailam is 120 kilometers and takes 7 hours. Ticket prices have been fixed at Rs. 2,000 for adults and Rs. 1,600 for children. As long as the water level in Nagarjuna Sagar Dam is 575 feet, according to the passenger traffic, launches will be playing in Srisailam, said the Tourism Development Corporation. (Maxim News)
