Lagacharla Incident: Contempt Of Court Petition Against Police In High Court
Hyderabad, Nov 21 (Maxim News): A contempt of Court petition has been filed in the Telangana High Court against the police in the Lagacharla incident, Patnam Shruti filed a petition in the High Court alleging that her husband Patnam Narendra Reddy was arrested against the guidelines of the Supreme Court. It has been mentioned in the petition that contempt of court action should be taken against the police. The petitioner claimed that the norms to be followed at the time of arresting a person were not followed. In the petition, Shruti cited the Supreme Court verdict in the DK Basu case.

Petitioner Patnam Shruti asked to take contempt of court action against the police who are the defendants. The High Court is likely to hear this petition tomorrow (Friday).

Meanwhile, the incident of the attack on Vikarabad district collector Prateek Jain has become a sensation in the entire state. The police found that one of the accused who participated in the attack had spoken to former Kodangal MLA and BRS leader Patnam Narender Reddy several times on the phone. It is known that the former MLA was arrested by the police in this case. He was taken into custody while taking a morning walk at KBR Park in Hyderabad.
