Police Have Been Deployed Since Morning

Security has been beefed up in Sambhal, UP after the stone-pelting incident on November 24 over the Shahi Jama Masjid survey. The police have made tight security arrangements at the site of the incident. Administrative officials are reviewing the security arrangements from time to time to avoid any kind of lapse.

Today Is The First Friday Prayer After Violence

After the stone pelting incident on 24 November regarding the Shahi Jama Masjid survey, Friday prayers will be offered in the mosque today. The administration is on high alert mode regarding this. Barricading has also been done in the areas near the mosque.

Keeping An Eye With Drones

Considering the sensitivity of the matter, the police are keeping an eye on the Shahi Jama Masjid area through drones. The police have deployed 20 volunteers from a particular community to stop outsiders. The administration has also installed CCTV cameras in 20 new places.

RAF In Field

A contingent of Rapid Action Force (RAF) has been deployed at the spot. Rapid Action Force has been deployed to immediately control any kind of activity and prevent the riot from spreading. Today is the first Friday prayer after the violence.

Metal Detectors Installed At Entrances Of Mosque

Metal detectors have been installed at the entrance of Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal, UP ahead of the rush of devotees for Friday prayers. Along with this, other security arrangements have also been strengthened.
