Major Encounter In Chhattisgarh: 12 Maoists Killed

Chhattisgarh/Hyderabad, Dec 12 (Maxim News): Another major encounter took place in Chhattisgarh, where 12 Maoists were killed in an exchange of fire between the police and Maoists in the Abujmud area.

It is reported that the police have seized a large amount of weapons and revolutionary literature.  Series of blows… Maoists have been suffering a series of blows recently.  A series of encounters have been taking place recently.

Security forces launched a massive search operation after receiving information about the presence of Maoists.  The encounter took place against the backdrop.  The Maoists also retaliated.  The security forces, who were conducting a search operation based on specific information, were confronted by the Maoists, it seems that both groups opened fire.

While security forces were combing the Abuja Mud forest area, Maoists opened fire.  The security forces also responded befittingly and returned fire.  12 Maoists were killed in this firing.

Abuja Mud is a hilly area in a dense forest.  It is spread over the districts of Narayanpur, Bijapur, and Dantewada, Geographically, it is the most suitable area for Maoists.  Reaching here is very difficult.  The area is considered a center of Maoist activities.  A large-scale eradication program has been launched at the center of Chhattisgarh.  As soon as information is received about the trace of Maoists, joint operations are launched and encounters are carried out.  Many Maoists have already been killed in this operation (Maxim News)
