A terrible accident occurred there. A passenger flight belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines crashed near Aktau. It is reported that many people lost their lives in this incident. It seems that there were about 72 people on board the plane at the time of the crash.
The passenger flight, which took off from Baku in Azerbaijan, was heading towards Grozny, the capital of the Russian republic of Chechnya. At that time, it was diverted from Grozny due to dense fog.
