Construction Of Medak Church Inspired Food For Work Scheme: CM

Medak/Hyderabad, Dec 25 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy toured Medak district. The Chief Minister and Ministers visited Medak Church. The CM and ministers participated in the special prayers held at Medak Church on the occasion of Christmas. He wished Christians a Merry Christmas.

The Chief Minister inaugurated development works in the church premises. He said that he was happy to participate in the Christmas celebrations at the Medak Church, which has a hundred-year history.

Revanth recalled the Congress victory in Telangana, saying that he had come here as the PCC chief and said that the Congress government would come, as he said, the people of the state elected a people’s government. CM Revanth revealed that most of the beneficiaries of Indiramma’s houses are Dalit Christians.

He said that Medak Church was built a hundred years ago to eradicate famine and that the construction of Medak Church was the inspiration for the Food for Work Scheme. CM Revanth Reddy asked people to bless his government and to visit this church again next year.  (Maxim News)
