SpaDeX Mission: The Docking Process

The achievement follows the successful launch of ISRO’s Space Docking Experiment (SpaDeX) mission on December 30, 2024. During the trial, two spacecraft were brought within three meters of each other and then moved back to a safe distance. The docking process involved a precise maneuver from 15 meters to 3 meters, followed by a flawless docking procedure. The spacecraft then underwent retraction and stabilization, ensuring the docking was secure and successful.
