Delhi Elections: BJP’S Bumper Offer In Second Manifesto

Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 21 (Maxim News): BJP MP Anurag Thakur released the second manifesto “Sankalp Patra’ in Delhi. In this, the BJP has included many bumper offers for students, including KG to PG. He said that the goal of their party is a developed Delhi and a developed India.

The BJP is making huge election promises as part of its campaign for the Delhi Assembly elections. It has released its second manifesto as part of its election promises to come back to power. In this manifesto, it has focused entirely on the education sector. These are the promises in the BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’.

  • Free education in government institutions from KG to PG
  • One-time financial assistance of Rs. 15,000 to Delhi Youth preparing for competitive exams (Union Public Service Commission or State Public Service Commission exams)
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses and application fees for up to 2 attempts for candidates appearing for competitive examinations.
  • A stipend of Rs. 1000 per month for students belonging to the Scheduled Caste category.
  • 6 months of paid maternity leave for women
  • Double the number of beneficiaries of PM Swanidhi Yojana.
  • Establishment of a welfare board for auto and taxi drivers in Delhi. Life insurance of Rs. 10 lakhs, accident insurance of Rs. 5 lakhs. Insurance of subsidized vehicles for auto and taxi drivers. Scholarships for higher education of children of auto drivers.

BJP MP and former Union Minister Anurag Thakur announced that he will introduce a zero-tolerance policy on corruption.

He said that a SIT would be formed to investigate the scam that took place in Delhi. He said that his party’s goal is a developed Delhi and a developed India and that it will provide a better future for the people of Delhi. He lashed out at the AAP government for not implementing the Jal Jeevan Mission and Ayushman Bharat scheme in Delhi.

Polling for 70 Assembly seats in Delhi will be held on the 5th of next month and counting of votes will be held on February 8.
