CJP Protest | New Delhi, Oct. 11: Delhi Police have arrested four Hindu Raksha Dal activists over an alleged assault on students and women during the CJP protest in the national capital.
The incident reportedly took place on DDU Marg during a demonstration organised by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) on Saturday. The party had called for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over allegations of voter deletions during the Special Comprehensive Amendment process.

The report states that some people allegedly assaulted students and women protesters and behaved inappropriately towards female students. The individuals reportedly identified themselves as Hindu Raksha Dal activists.

Police said they had not received an official complaint from the students. However, they registered a case on their own initiative after the video circulated on social media.
Officials said they searched several areas of Delhi, identified the suspects and detained them. The arrests came amid heightened security arrangements across the capital ahead of the CJP demonstration.
The incident also prompted questions on social media about how the alleged assault occurred despite the extensive security deployment and restrictions imposed across Delhi.
