KTR strongly condemns illegal arrest of BRS corporators
Hyderabad, Jan 30 (Maxim News): BRS Working President and MLA, K.Tarak Rama Rao strongly condemns the illegal arrest of GHMC BRS corporators. He criticized the Congress government’s attitude of ignoring Hyderabad city at the GHMC governing council meeting.
If a question is asked on behalf of one crore city residents that funds have not been provided to Hyderabad city since the Congress government came to power, will they be thrown out?
Will you silence our public representatives to prevent Congress from cheating by changing the numbers on the same pieces of paper and boasting about it once again, without spending even a single penny of the budget funds allocated last year?
This government is not even bothered to question the incompetence of GHMC, which is unable to properly maintain even the most basic public amenities like sanitation, drinking water, and electricity supply.
All development programs initiated by the previous government for the comprehensive development of the people of Hyderabad city should be completed immediately. Until then, we will continue to protest this state government and the Chief Minister who is in charge of the Municipal Administration Department. Arrested corporators and party leaders should be released immediately.
On behalf of our party, we warn the government that if it tries to undermine public representatives in the name of arrests instead of implementing the promises made, it will be taught a lesson in public life. (Maxim News)
