Yadagirigutta Brahmotsavam From March 1 (Tomorrow)

Hyderabad, Feb 28 (Maxim News): Yadagirigutta Temple EO Bhaskar Rao has handed over an invitation letter to State Governor Jishnu Dev Varma to attend the annual Brahmotsavam of Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy to be held from March 1st to 11th.

He met the Governor at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad and handed over a special invitation letter along with Sri Swamy’s laddu prasadam. Meanwhile, EO Bhaskar Rao said that arrangements are being made to organize the Brahmotsavam grandly.

He said that the Brahmotsavams would begin on March 1 with the worship of Vishwaksena and Swastivachana. He said that there will be a Mahotsavam on the 7th, Sri Swamy’s Thiru Kalayana Mahotsavam on the 8th, Rathotsavam on the 9th, and Chakratirtha Snanam celebrations on the 10th. He explained that the celebrations will end with a dolotsavam at night on the 11th. He said that Sri Swamy’s decorative and vehicle services would begin on the 3rd. Meanwhile, as part of the Brahmotsavams, he said that proposals have been sent to the government to send devotees and vehicles to the hilltop free of charge from 5 pm to 8.30 pm. (Maxim News)
