“I Will Drink Your Blood”: Woman Beats Mother Over Property Dispute In Haryana

A shocking video circulating online shows a woman physically assaulting her mother while making remarks such as “Maza aara hai, khoon piyungi” (This is fun, I will drink your blood).The incident took place in Modern Saket Colony, Azad Nagar, Hisar, and has led to widespread condemnation.

Brutal Attack Captured on Video

The three-minute video, reported by mediapersons, shows the woman, identified as Rita, sitting on a bed with her mother, Nirmala Devi, who is seen crying. Rita is seen scolding her before striking her leg forcefully and biting her thigh, ignoring her mother’s cries of pain. The abuse continues as Rita grabs her mother by the hair, pulls her down, and seemingly bites her again while she begs for mercy. At one point, she slaps her and asks, “Will you live forever?”

Police Action and Legal Charges

After the video went viral on social media, Rita’s brother, Amardeep Singh, filed a police complaint, alleging that she had been holding their mother captive. Following this, the police registered a case against Rita under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

Inspector Sadhuram, the station head officer of Azad Nagar Police Station, confirmed the case registration. The video also captured a male voice in the background, but no one intervened. Rita is later seen kicking her mother off the bed, striking her, and continuing to assault her while yelling, “You are forcing me to do this.”

Family Dispute and Property Allegations

According to Amardeep Singh, Rita married Sanjay Punia, a resident of a village near Rajgarh, two years ago. However, she soon returned to their maternal home and allegedly began harassing their mother over property matters.

Singh further claimed that Rita sold a family property in Kurukshetra for ₹65 lakh, kept the money, and confined their mother, pressuring her to transfer the remaining property to her name. Additionally, he accused her of preventing him from visiting their home and threatening to file false allegations against him.  

The video has sparked widespread outrage, with people demanding strict action against Rita. Authorities have assured a thorough investigation into the matter, and further legal proceedings are expected.
