Speeding Car Overturned After Hitting An Electric Pole, Two People Died On Spot

Hyderabad, April 20 (Maxim News): A horrific accident took place on the ORR (Outer Ring Road) in the early hours of this morning. A speeding car hit an electric pole in the middle of the road and overturned. Two people travelling in the car died on the spot in the accident. The incident took place under the jurisdiction of dundigal police station.

According to the police and locals, Girdhu Bhanu Prakash (36) from Jaipur in Odisha and Nalini (37) from Rourkela in the same state are friends. They work in software jobs in IT companies in the city and live in the United Amigo Avenue Apartment in Manchirevula, Rajendranagar constituency.

In this context on Sunday morning at around 4.30 am, they were going from Medchal towards Patancheru via Outer Ring Road in a car. The car was traveling at a high speed when it lost control at Mallampet ORR Exit 4A under Dundigal Municipality, hit an electric pole in the middle of the road and fell to the other side of the road. The car was severely damaged in the accident, and Bhanu Prakash and Nalini, who were traveling in it, suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot due to excessive bleeding.

Police believe that the accident occurred due to excessive speed and careless driving. The dundigal police, who registered a case based on the complaint of Bhanu Prakash’s wife Lakshmi, have shifted the bodies to Medchal Government Hospital for postmortem and are investigating. (Maxim News)
