Complaints Received Through Public Channels Should Be Addressed Promptly: Commissioner R.V. Karnan
Hyderabad, May 19 (Maxim News): GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan has instructed the concerned officials to resolve the grievances received in the public hearing promptly. The Commissioner has instructed the officials of the concerned departments to thoroughly examine the grievances of people from all over the city on their personal and social problems who came to the public hearing program organized at the GHMC headquarters on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner R.V. Karnan said that the authorities should resolve the personal and social problems of the people in a responsible manner. He said that the financial petitions should be examined at the field level and the appropriate decision taken or not should be communicated to the concerned petitioner in writing.

A total of 66 complaints were received during the public hearing held at the GHMC headquarters, of which 33 were received from the Town Planning Department, 6 from the Engineering Department, 5 from the Tax Section, two each from the Electric, Land Acquisition, Finance, Administration, Sanitation, Housing, and Vigilance Departments, and one each from the Health, Estate, Lakes, and UBD Departments. Four complaints were received through phone calls.
A total of 113 applications were received in the six zones under GHMC. Out of which 40 were received in Kukatpally zone, 14 in Serilingampally zone, 9 in LB Nagar zone, 17 in Secunderabad zone, 3 in Charminar zone, and 30 in Khairatabad zone.
Additional Commissioners Venu Gopal, Pankaja, Geetha Radhika, Nalini Padmavati, Raghu Prasad, Yadagiri Rao, Satyanarayana, Venugopal Reddy, CCP Srinivas, Additional CCPs Gangadhar, Venkanna, LAO Ramu Naik, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Padmaja, Horticulture Officer Sunanda, Electricity EE Mamatha, Estate Officer Uma Prakash, Water Board DGM Sai Ramana, Deputy CE Panasa Reddy, P V Rao, Housing EE Rajeshwara Rao, Joint Commissioner Revenue Mahesh Kulkarni, Advertisement Officer Veterinary Supervisor Shailaja, Maintenance AE Balaji, and others participated in this meeting.
