Floods In North Eastern State: PM Modi Spoke To Assam CM And Sikkim CM
Delhi/Hyderabad, June 3 (Maxim News): Heavy rains have lashed the northeastern states. Due to this, floods are coming, life has come to a standstill in the states of Assam, Sikkim and Manipur due to rains. About 34 people have died due to floods.
In this context, Prime Minister Modi spoke to Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang and Manipur Governor Ajay Bhalla today. he said that he will provide assistance to deal with the flood disaster.

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said that Prime Minister Modi called him to take stock of the current situation.
Biswa Sarma said that he had apprised Modi of the flood situation in Assam and neighbouring states due to incessant rains. He also informed him about the relief operation undertaken by the state government, he said in his statement. Landslides have been triggered in some places due to the floods. (Maxim News)
