Corona Grips India: Active Cases Crossed 6,000 Mark
Delhi/Hyderabad, June 10 (Maxim News): The corona epidemic is spreading day by day in the country. Currently, the number of active cases in the country has crossed the 6 thousand mark. Six people have lost their lives to corona in the last 24 hours.
The highest number of cases has been registered in Kerala. There are 1950 cases in that state. 144 cases have increased in the last 24 hours. After that, Gujarat is in second place.
There are 822 cases in that state. 686 in Delhi, 595 in Maharashtra, 366 in karnataka, 219 in Uttar Pradesh, 194 in Tamil Nadu, 132 in Rajasthan, and 102 in Haryana. Three people have lost their lives in Kerala in the last 24 hours. One of them is 51 years old, another is 64, and the third person is 92 years old.
Official sources said that these three were already suffering from multiple diseases. Similarly, two people have lost their lives to Covid in Karnataka. They are also suffering from health problems. A 42 year-old man has died of corona in Tamil Nadu, official sources said.

According to the Union Health Ministry, 769 new cases have been registered in the last 48 hours. The number of active cases has crossed 6,000. On the other hand, in the wake of the increasing number of Covid cases, the central government is conducting a mock drill to check the level of preparedness of facilities. It has ordered all states to ensure the availability of oxygen, isolation beds, ventilators and essential medicines.
The ministry said that there are 6,133 active Covid cases in India. Most of the cases have mild symptoms. Official sources said that it is enough to be isolated at home. 65 deaths have occurred in the country since January this year. (Maxim News)
