Atrocity In Medak: Younger Brother Kills Older Brother Under The Pretext Of Magic
Medak/Hyderabad, July 12 (Maxim News): A shocking and brutal incident was reported from Arshanapalli village in Kolcharam mandal, Medak district, where a man allegedly killed his elder brother over suspicions of witchcraft and a tractor rental dispute.
The victim, Ramavat Manthiya (46) of Pasuram Thanda, was beaten to death by his younger brother, Mohan, following a heated argument.
According to sources, the dispute stemmed from a long-standing issue involving the rental of Mohan’s tractor, which Manthiya had used in the past but hadn’t fully paid for. Recently, Manthiya chose to hire another tractor from the same Thanda to plow his field, which reportedly enraged Mohan.
Mohan allegedly confronted Manthiya angrily, questioning why he bypassed him for another deal. He even threatened to set the tractor on fire if it was used on his brother’s field. A local tractor owner, Bikshapati, reportedly warned Manthiya over a phone call.
The confrontation escalated when Manthiya visited Mohan’s toddy shop, where an argument broke out. In a fit of rage, Mohan attacked his brother with a toddy bottle, causing severe injuries. He then strangled him using a towel and, to ensure his death, smashed a stone on his head.
Though family members rushed Manthiya to Kulcharam Hospital, doctors declared him dead. His body was later sent for a postmortem at a government hospital.
Villagers revealed that Mohan suspected Manthiya of casting spells, blaming him for the recent death of his granddaughter. Since then, tensions between the brothers had reportedly escalated.
The gruesome murder has left the entire village in shock and sorrow. Police have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter. (Maxim News)
