Hyderabad: Man Stabbed to Death Following Argument in Asifnagar

Hyderabad, July 21: A 35-year-old man, identified as Mohd Qabulla alias Addu Khan (27), was brutally murdered near Rahat Hotel in Asifnagar late Sunday night.

The police suspect prior enmity to be the motive behind the killing.

According to investigators, Qabulla was reportedly consuming alcohol with a few acquaintances when he was confronted by unidentified individuals.

An argument broke out, which quickly escalated, leading to the assailants bludgeoning him to death.

Eyewitnesses at the scene alerted the police, who arrived promptly and began collecting clues.

The Asifnagar police have registered a case and are reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity to identify the attackers.

Preliminary findings suggest that Qabulla may have known the suspects and could have arrived at the location with them. Police believe a personal grudge may have triggered the fatal assault.

All efforts are underway to trace and apprehend those responsible, said the SHO.
