Kargil Vijay Diwas 2025: Hyderabad Pays Tribute to Bravehearts with Wreath-Laying Ceremony
Hyderabad, July 26 (Maxim News): Marking the 26th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a solemn wreath-laying ceremony was held in Hyderabad today by the Telangana & Andhra Sub Area (TASA) to honor the indomitable courage and supreme sacrifice of Indian soldiers during the 1999 Kargil War.
The commemorative event was held with full military honors to remember the heroes who laid down their lives protecting the nation’s sovereignty.
Governor Leads Tributes
Governor Jishnu Dev Varma led the ceremony by laying a wreath at the war memorial in the presence of senior officers and tri-services representatives. The event reflected a profound sense of national pride, unity, and solemn gratitude.
“The bravery and sacrifice of our soldiers will always be remembered and honored. We pay tribute to their memory and legacy,” the Governor stated during the ceremony.
A Symbol of Courage and Sacrifice
Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed annually on July 26 to commemorate India’s victory over Pakistani intruders in the high-altitude Kargil sector of Ladakh in 1999. The ceremony served as a reminder of the unmatched valor and selflessness of the Indian armed forces, particularly those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
