Hussain Sagar Reaches Full Tank Level After Heavy Rains
Hyderabad, Aug 11 (Maxim News): Due to heavy rains in the city, Hussain Sagar has become a full pond. Heavy floodwater is reaching Hussain Sagar from many parts of the city. Due to this, water is being released from Hussain Sagar into the Musi River through tumuli.
On the other hand, GHMC officials have alerted the people of the Musi River catchment area. Flooding continues at the Musi project in Nalgonda downstream. To this end, the officials are lifting three gates and releasing water downstream. (Maxim News)
