Mujahid Alam Khan | Hyderabad, May 30: The Telangana Congress has expelled TPCC Vice President Mujahid Alam Khan from the party following his arrest in connection with the alleged murder of advocate Khaja Moizuddin. The party also suspended senior Congress leader Mahboob Alam Khan over his alleged role in the case.
The disciplinary action came shortly after Hyderabad police arrested the two leaders as part of the ongoing investigation into the high profile advocate murder case, which has drawn significant political attention in the city.
Announcing the decision, TPCC Disciplinary Committee Chairman and MP Mallu Ravi said the party had taken the matter seriously and acted immediately after the arrests.

According to Mallu Ravi, the Congress leadership decided to expel Mujahid Alam Khan from the party’s primary membership and suspend Mahboob Alam Khan pending further developments in the case.
The party said the action reflects its commitment to maintaining organisational discipline and public accountability. Congress leaders stated that the party would not tolerate any conduct that could damage its image or public trust.
The case relates to the alleged murder of advocate Khaja Moizuddin. The investigation gained prominence after police named several suspects and intensified their probe into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
