An Indian man who recently visited Dubai was moved to tears after watching the Ganga Aarti at the Bochasanvasi Akshara Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The 24 year old shared a video of his visit to the temple on Twitter three weeks after moving to the UAE. After spending two weeks in a hotel and finally moving into a new house, he explored the temple for the first time.
He visited this temple on a weekend and had a great spiritual experience. He shared a video of it with netizens, saying that he felt like he was in his own country after watching the Ganga Aarti there. He captioned the video, “I saw the Ganga Aarti in the UAE” and reposted it. The role of these temples in preserving Indian culture abroad is highlighted. These places of worship belonging to BAPS provide good spiritual solace.

Ganga Aarti Ceremonies Daily Performed
It also helps to connect deeply with one’s roots and culture, rather than feeling separate. Meanwhile, daily Ganga Aarti ceremonies are performed in this temple without any hindrance. The Bochasanvasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan hindu Mandir (BAPS) in Abu Dhabi is spread over 27 acres of land.
It is noteworthy that it was built on a 13.5 acre plot of land generously donated by UAE president Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This temple was built in 2019, it cost 400 million UAE dirhams, which is more than Rs. 961 crore in our Indian currency. (Maxim News)
