Hyderabad, Sept. 27: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has appealed to his party leaders, cadres, and fans to stand by the people affected by the Hyderabad floods. He urged them to actively participate in service activities and extend support to the victims during this difficult time.
Pawan Kalyan appeals for flood relief support
Pawan Kalyan emphasized that heavy rains across Telangana, including Hyderabad, have created severe hardships for residents. He pointed out that the Musi river overflowed following the release of water from the twin reservoirs, leading to waterlogging at several locations in the city. Even the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) and surrounding areas were submerged, causing major disruptions.
The Jana Sena chief urged his Telangana party unit to mobilize volunteers and ensure timely assistance for affected families. He called upon citizens not to lose hope and to support one another in overcoming the crisis.
Recognition of government’s relief measures
Pawan Kalyan also acknowledged the relief efforts initiated by the Telangana government under Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. He noted that the administration had already launched rescue and relief operations in flood-hit areas. He appealed to people to cooperate with officials, follow weather warnings, and adhere to safety instructions to minimize risks.
The actor-turned-politician’s statement comes at a time when Hyderabad continues to grapple with flooding in low-lying colonies, disrupted transport routes, and widespread damage caused by the overflowing Musi river. His call for solidarity has been welcomed by supporters, who are now mobilizing resources to provide food, shelter, and medical assistance to those affected.
